This House Hungers

For six generations
the Hatherleys ruled: taxing and pillaging, killing all who dared oppose them.

Six years ago
the Hatherleys vanished, leaving a strange invitation:
"Riches untold for whoever can claim them."

Sixty dead fools
have sought the Manor's treasure.
Their surviving friends gibber of traps, curses, monsters.

Such warnings go unheeded, of course. Fresh meat arrives like clockwork, and the front doors gape hungrily...

This House Hungers is a horror-filled dungeon for role-playing games like Knave or Old-School Essentials, inspired by media like Betrayal at House on the Hill, Uninvited (1986), and Resident Evil. It's intended for adventurers of levels 1-3. Players will have to thwart traps, solve puzzles, manage resources and fend off monsters to survive... let alone get paid.
